 What is FEVIP?

The Future Educators of the Virgin Islands Program (FEVIP) is a collection of programs and scholarships designed to encourage and financially support students interested in pursuing a career in education.

  FEVIP High School Program

(FEVIP HSP)

The FEVIP high school program is open to all students attending a public high school in the territory.  FEVIP students participate in year round enrichment workshops as well as employment opportunities in the field of education. Students also receive academic support and post-secondary advising in the area of education e.g., FEVIP academic scholarships, general scholarship search assistance, career exploration & information assistance, and personalized college counseling.

 FEVIP Collegian Scholarship Program

(FEVIP CSP)

The FEVIP collegian program is designed for senior high school students who would like to pursue a career in teaching.  FEVIP Collegian Scholars receive a full tuition and book scholarship to attend UVI.  Students who apply and are accepted into the FEVIP CSP do so with the understanding that upon completion of all necessary teaching requirements the student will be legally required to provide one year of service, as a teacher, to the Department of Education for each year the scholarship is received.
